Women, You are Fearfully & Wonderfully Made!
Updated: Jun 27, 2020
Our Differences makes each of us unique, we do not have to be a cookie cutter "copies" of someone else! [Psalm 139:14]
Beauty Really Lies Within:
I am a petite size woman, I remember growing up as a child, feeling like God made a mistake, or something must have went wrong. Why did I not continue to grow and mature like other average size girls? Why was I so short and bony (a word we use back in the 60's)? I had long wavy hair (one thing I would consider to be a positive because people were always admiring my hair) and honestly, most people thought I was the cutest littlest thing, but I felt like I was lacking and I wasn't like most other girls. Looking on from the outside, probably no one would know this, I smiled, I was joyful, and I could do what any other girl could do, probably better than some, (smiling). I was competitive, good in sports, and excel in school work. It was in those quiet times, when no one was around, but there was a mirror and when I took time to look... I saw an undeveloped girl, and I would think, why was I in this body?
I just didn't understand.
[more to come]
Let's talk, real talk...How about you? What has been your struggle? What is your struggle? Have you always felt accepted, beautiful, worthy, validated, etc?
How are you now in this season of life?
(Psalms 139:14/ESV) I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
